No, but my first street legal car of my own was a 1979 Pontiac Acadian. Mine was painted black with mag wheels and fuzzy black floor mats and aa cushy black leather dash board. I had a racing steering wheel and bottle caps from beer bottles as the knobs in my tape deck. It was a funny little car and It was a stick shift. I drove it to school everyday. It was indestructible. : )
My first car WAS a training wheel :P Or as good as... it was a daewoo Matiz and almost everyone makes fun of them.. but I loved my Tiz and Tiz and I were insane together. Tiz had an engine size that was probably smaller than most lawn mowers but providing you didn't lose momentum it could overtake a lot of other cars and could pull away from the lights mega fast.
I had a Toyota Corola two door. It was four cylinder but I got it going really fast. Especially during that high speed chase over the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge in 80 (of which I OUT RAN THEM) HA
$2190 if my memory is correct. Ford Pinto. Taxi cab yellow with a white vinyl top. Four in the floor. I loved it until my husband, in 1980, surprised me with a brand new granny-type car, a Cutlass Supreme. My little Pinto was bashed in on all four corners but I didn't care. Anyway, we sold it and for a few years I drove that Oldsmobile. It was the only car I ever had that had an automatic transmission. I soon bought myself another small car with a five-speed.
