I have slept with a lot more people than I have had sex with, So unless DNA is transmitted through the Air I have DNA from far fewer people than I have slept with.

That's good to know: some of them were very, VERY good!

Wilt Chamberlain (Basketball Great) claimed to have slept with 20,000 different women in his life. I suppose his DNA would be off of the charts...

Possibly true in women who have had sexual partners who have ejaculated without using condoms, haven't heard of it in men.

Why do some people assume that the exchange of semen is the only way that DNA is transferred from one person to another? Open your minds and broaden your horizons, people!

Because that is what the research has narrowed down as the most likely cause.

Grammar is a closed subject, Randy D---you don't need to spend any more time studying it.

That should give you more time to do research before stating your opinions on other issues.

On this issue, I haven't stated any opinion, I stated a fact: DNA can be transferred in other ways besides through semen. Just because I contradicted what you wrote doesnt mean it's my opinion. Perhaps you should crack open a dictionary and brush up on the definition of the words fact and opinion; you'll see how they differ. Secondly, "most likely" does not equal "the only way", so in your rebuttal, you've merely reinforced my point rather than refuted it.

Grammar is not a closed subject; it has nuances and avenues and broadness abound, just like thousands of other topics.

Apparently a possibility that explains how females can carry male DNA.

No, the article stated it is more likely from pregnacy either of the woman or her mother.

No, more likely but not stated as definitely the reason. They are all possibilities.

No, no, no. The article is not saying one way or the other but is offering other interesting possibilities.

What purpose would be achieved for you if it was true ?
PS: Snopes placed the label FALSE on it. The reason i checked Snopes was that I found it very hard to believe.

The purpose is to not sleep around so much and be consciously aware of who and what you sleep with. Don't go transferring any dog or sheep DNA. This post was edited by O-uknow at January 3, 2018 7:16 AM MST
