    Meh.  It is something maybe we don't want to see.

    You seen one eclipse you seen them all.  You seen one supermoon, you seen them all.

    But seeing two at the same time means the Apocalypse.

    Certainly saw the moon, and yes, larger than it normally appears, but in entirety - I live in totally wrong latitude for the eclipse. The "blue" bit merely refers to it being the second full moon of the month, but that's far more a quirk of human-made calendars than of astronomy.

    The best place to view it is from the extinct volcano of the Canary Island ....it's fifty thousand miles nearer Earth.....it's only 189,000 away then..... :)
