Watching a dog lick his front paws raw.  Watching a person scratch themselves until they bleed and continue to scratch more.

  • A few years ago I was away for a couple of weeks on a work related trip. I was having a very "sexually charged" text convo with the guy I was seeing at the time... then got a text from my Dad... and didn't notice that I replied to my father instead of guy I was dating:/ I still want to crawl into hole and die when I think of that :)

"Creepshow" a wonderfully-crafted movie to me.
It's a movie with five unrelated little stories in it, all from a horror comic book -- the stories come to life with real people and with animation thrown in at incredibly effective times. It's a horror-comedy movie. The original screenplay is written by Stephen King and it's directed by George Romero, director of my favorite movie of all movies I've seen --  1968's "Night of the Living Dead."

The last episode I mentioned is a one-man performance by E.G. Marshall - - he deserved an Oscar for his performance in my opinion -- at the least, a nomination. Alas, no. He portrays "Upton Pratt" - - great name! - - or was it Upson? unsure now -- a rich recluse with a HUGE cleanliness fetish -- lives in a germ-free penthouse. Anyway, he soon has a problem with cockroaches invading his space - - - horrifyingly fun to experience this movie! And the scene I'm talking about that made me cringe -- practically the ENTIRE audience in the theater at the showing I attended screamed out in horror and laughter and cringey-noise, at the CREEPINESS of it all - - I really recommend the movie - -  one of the best movies from the 1980's decade in my opinion.
    :)

The halftime show of the National College Football Championship game tonight.  Horrid.  That is being kind and civil.  I don't how long it will take to wipe it completely from memory.

Wonderful!!  I'm an Auburn fan first, then an Alabama fan.  I grew up in Bama.  We are also very happy to see the Dawgs resurrect.  I love all of the SEC.  Bama lost a great coach when Smart went to Georgia but we're proud that he is doing so well.  Like he said in his post game interview....Georgia isn't going anywhere.....they are a force to be reckoned with.  So many of the sports pundits and coaches around the country always complaining about the SEC and its strength and they mostly agreed that the SEC would be shut out of the playoffs.  NOT!!  We partied last night way into the night. Now for us partying means we drank coffee and watched the rerun of the game.  :)

Ahh there are so many... these things happen on a daily basis to me :P Just today... I was whining on about the card printing machine.. it wouldn't work cos *someone* lost the cable... I asked the someone why they lost the cable... I whined at IT and premises about it.. I need that machine fixed asap... I grumbled about it to everyone who would listen... then my manager came in and there was the cable sitting there... all along..

Hmmm well... I didn't have time to look for it.. I am waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too busy ... and anyway.. the person who *lost* it shouldn't have said email premises and IT now should she.. not my fault... well... erm just a bit my fault but...,. oh heck cringe
