Have you ever mined anything?

I pulled a chunk of coal out of the side of a mountain in eastern Kentucky.

I have mined many a brain of people I admire digging for information they may have.  They have never minded.  They actually think it tickles :) :) 
I have mined right here in California for gold and actually found some!!  I got to take the morsel I found home in a little bottle.  I was at Knots Berry Farm :) :)!!!

Some pushy broad sent her daughter to romance my nephew because she heard that his grandfather owned a gold and silver mine. After the wedding she learned that he owned a LEAD and silver mine, so she took her daughter and went away.

I paid some excavator to move many cubic yards of topsoil from the back of my lot to the front. That was 'mining'.

I've 'mined my own business' many times.

I've mined gold in Colorado, seen veins flowing down the side of the San Juan Mountains with my own eyes, panned it with my own hands.

Yes; my own business.

I don't mined at all. 

Last year I got so bored I had gold ore from a mine in Alaska mailed to me to pan.
