I had no problem with the link---if you go there frequently, perhaps you have exceed the free access they have.
Here is a major comment found in the article: But maybe the reason Trump’s behavior should bother us is bigger than the notion that a commander in chief should meet a rigorous standard of morality just because. Maybe it has more to do with the practical pitfalls that breaches such as this one carry with them.
The Washington Post paywall allow me to read 3 full articles daily, before it stops further wiews. The Wall Street Jounral in contrast only allows me to read the first 6 to ten lines of any of their articles. It is linked in the first paragraph of the Post-article https://www.wsj.com/articles/trump-lawyer-arranged-130-000-payment-for-adult-film-stars-silence-1515787678
Without reading the article... scare may not be the right word, but it's true that trusting, or allowing a madman, with no morals and very limited intelligence to run the country - that's scary. I doubt that will be a popular answer here tho :P
just seen this.. i miss things on here due to being here for limited amount of time.. so your response deserves an answer... here it is.. ahem... aside from the questions surrounding the fact of electing a f***wit there ARE and you well know this, ways and *due process* to remove a pres who is actively harming, who is considered incompetent, who is a whole lot of other things besides.. and you know this.. for not to have those provisions within your nation of laws and due process, (I would question how well those seem to be working right now for you guys) would be insane and counterproductive.. I hear that Trumpet's lawyers fear not so much impeachment but Strumpet being done on a charge of purgatory... sooo fact is my flower I DO have a point.. it just happens to be one you aren't wild about :P
Not judging your point, though I'm still not sure what it is. Especially since there is no such thing as a charge of purgatory. How do you dream this stuff up? Purgatory is, in Roman Catholic doctrine, a place or state of suffering inhabited by the souls of sinners who are expiating their sins before going to heaven. It does not define any kind of crime or offense.
Say what you like about President Trump, and I agree with some of it, but there's no getting past that he was duly elected and inaugurated. Sorry, but people's feelings about him do not constitute grounds for removal from office. That's the salient point here, no matter how much folks like you, who doesn't even live or vote in the US and thus really have no right to judge, howl at the moon about how terrible Trump is. Unlike you, I live here and actually, you know, voted in the election for his opponent.
Apologies, typo while I was printing out notes for my daughter and printing out my reading for this week - so not concentrating, (which is often the case) I meant of course, perjury - auto-correct must have nobbled it without me knowing. However, one would wonder exactly why you felt it necessary make an attempt at belittling here, quote, "How do you dream this stuff up" clearly the implication was that you feel dismissive towards me and my posts, to the extent where typo excluded, you prefer to suggest and belittle my comments. Tis ok tho flower, I forgive you. I just thought I'd point it out in case you were unaware :P
PS I dealt with my inalienable right to comment, (a right to free speech, which I am sure you would defend) and I also dealt with the point on that there are GROUNDS for ridding your country of this vile excuse of a prez, a man who discredits your country and your people at every turn - not least of which is perjury :P
What should scare us about Trump's porn star scandal? For me, nothing. Mainly because so far it's based solely on conjecture, opinion, and hearsay. When some concrete proof is presented, then it can be addressed.
And you don't feel there is already proof??? Let's face it... do you really think the almighty Trump, who fires anyone who comes close to exposing him and his misbehaviour, is going to allow that??
If you were in bear country with a firearm and someone said there was a bear rushing toward you, would you you require a zoologist's confirmation about whether it was a bear and what was happening before you took a shot?
He has done and will continue to do far worse. The shocking part is that he actually paid her!
The scary thing is that millions of obtuse Americans STILL support him. The truly hilarious thing is that the vast majority of them consider themselves "Christians" and believers in "traditional family values".
How is that different from any other president? The fact is that there have been some very positive economic signs in the last year, and he's getting credit for that, same as would any other president. Also, despite all the sturm und drang from folks like Rosie, Sharonna, and Adaydreambeliever, there's no strange dictator-like thing going on.
