    I would rather say it depends on which boocks you consider historically authoritative. If the Bible (OT and NT) is such a book, then Jesus, his genealogy go all the way back to David (then adds whatever genealogy David got (not much, wasen't he Sauls adopted 'son').
    If you exclude the bible then Caesar, he came from one of the main patrician families in Rome.
    I just ready your linked article, what a surprize :) I read the question wrong to think you meant the past genealogy of the persons named

    In theory the Bible, but it is largely a codification of an oral tradition, much of which is symbolic.
