    Dang!  What was it?  I had an engine rebuilt for $2400.  I thought that was about as bad as that kind of thing could be.

    $3500.00 for a new engine for my 1986 Toyota 4x4 Truck.
    and then...The engine was bad, fell apart
    and I had to put another engine in.
    The guy wouldn't be responsible
    so it cost me another $3500.00

    Almost $8,000.00 2004 F-350 with the infamous 6.0 Power Stroke. 
    EGR, Radiator, sensors and everything else that typically goes along with those lemons. Unfortunately Ford don't stand behind their mistakes.
