Erm.... no... not keen.. in fact I despise it. I like snow and all... IF I don't have to go out and can just sit and look at it out the window :P

no, i hate snow for that reason, i wear ice bugs in the snow, theyre hiking boots and the bottoms are made to walk on ice, i also walk around with a backpack on wheels so i can walk around holding the handles and not fall

The biggest risk to your health is the fall. So, I've come up with a way to get around that. By laying on down on your front, and crawling. Impossible to fall. Just wear plenty of layers to keep your body temp good.

Get some of those things you put on the bottom of shoes that act like mountain climbing boots.

Something like golfer's shoes but for snow.

    There has to be something.

I find a bit of snow on top of the ice helps me keep balanced -- the snow adds a bit of traction on top of the ice surface - - but plain old sheets of ice with nothing on top of them - - that's when I tend to slip.

If I never see snow again after I leave here, it won't bother me one bit.
