    Unless you are a resident of Punxsatawney, PA, where it’s like Mardi Gras, no, it means nothing. 
    It’s a residue of an old Germanic superstition.

    Just my favorite Holiday.  That and Ides of March.  I live in Arizona who cares about 6 more weeks of 75 degrees?

    I wish it meant a real celebration of groundhogs. They are my favorite rodent, I think. Just look how cute they are!!

    One warm spring evening, I noticed a young rabbit and a small groundhog sniffing each others noses.  Very cute.
