No, I can't even get out of the bathtub, I need one of those walk in tubs. Only showers for me now.

I really am feeling my age more than ever.

  • I never liked bathtub, Sunshine. It's like swimming in your own soup, as an English friend told me some years ago. She would stand in the tub and take a shower.

Showers it's been for me always.

  • You make me envious, Some1. I'm four years younger, and can't. Could, though, ten years or so ago.

  • Nope. And I'm 24 too :(

But I'm not flexible, never have been, and even though I'm average build, I'm not the most athletic.

I'm glad no one filmed me trying just now...

  • Great, little queen. Keep yourself in trim form. At our age (I'm 44) we need to "preserve" ourselves for later in life. I have slacked off on my exercises and walks; shall take them up again thanks to your reply.

I can't. Too stiff and weak for that.

Lol, it surprised me too when I couldn't do it. I stay in shape, but I'll share with you that flexibility is and has always been one of my lesser qualities.

This particular feat appears to require 50% strength and 50% flexibility/agility. I looked like an awkward fish out of water stuck in quicksand trying to climb a Sequoia tree with nothing more than flippers and tail.
