Have you ever had an addiction of any kind that you haven't been able control?

    That's a tough one.
    Both of my parents had to quit cold turkey due to health concerns.
    They smoked their whole lives since they were teens.
    My mother doesn't smoke anymore, but she always keeps a pack of cigarettes nearby just so her brain knows that she could if she wanted to.
    It works for her.

    Yes....Shoes and boots.....I just can't seem to kick the habit of buying them....it will be quite a feet if I manage it.....it's a good job I'm well heeled enough two afford them.... :)

    I used to smoke.  Never heavily, but it was a habit I stopped cold turkey.

    When I made up my mind to quit.  But I certainly felt compelled to smoke at a certain time in my life.  The fact I never got heavy with it is probably how I was able to quit a bit easier than many other smokers.  It IS addictive and the craving is very real.

    In high school I could not quit smoking pot.  Then I moved and lost all my connections.  That was a lucky break for me, eh?
