Got any big weekend plans?

I recently moved from the city to the country so this weekend I'm planing on walking down to the general store with my dog and say howdy to the local yokals.   And if they say do you think it's going to rain I'll say recon so ( so they don't know I was a city boy. Cheers and happy weekend!

  • They're gonna laugh your oss out of there, WISH I could be there to see it and laugh, too.  Make sure to wear some spurs & chaps, and a big ol' chaw of Redman, no less than half the pouch. :P

    Ya  but I'm  walking  there  so I can't be caring a keg up the road plus I don't want them to take  a shine to me just because I have a keg or two. My dog and I are pretty loveable looking so I bet I'll be the talk of the corn field this year. cheers and happy weekend!

    Well the shindig won't be hapening until harvest time but I might suggest that Kin Fo might be performing at the shindig (Kin Fo is one of the best jug bands in the world and I'm friends with them on Facebook so I might be able to set it up. cheers and happy weekend!

    In England we only have normal size weekends........does it mean you have less days in the week ? ...:)D

    Here in Canada  it's sort of  like a party like it was 1999 thing  or a Feris Bulars day of thing. Weekends are specail and short  so you try to make the best of them while keeping your stick on the ice. Cheers and happy weekend! This post was edited by Nanoose at March 17, 2018 2:02 AM MDT

      I will be running in an important relay race this weekend. It's an annual event that attracts participants and spectators from around the world, I believe there are 188 teams.  It's been held for over thirty years, is my fifth year.
