It's crazy - - I hear Patsy Cline sing and my world stops and I must listen. Is it just me?

:)
She's my favorite singer.
This is my favorite song of hers - "She's Got You."
Her voice melts me every time.

So many musicians have composed music that just blows me away.....it's the same with so many artist voices.....I don't necessarily like all of my favorite singers choices of material they pick to sing though....:)

I love her too and have been a fan for many years. She died way to young.
Have you seen the movie about her life with Jessica Lang?

I did see it "Sweet Dreams." I'm a big Jessica Lange fan, along with Patsy Cline. A huge win-win movie for me.

Same here and I have seen the movie several times. Plus I really like Ed Harris too.

I've only seen the movie once.

I love Ed Harris, too! What an under-rated actor to me! Everything he does is top-notch to me.
(Yeah, and I find him incredibly handsome - - that's a plus for me, too, I admit.)

I don't think that he is all that handsome, but he makes himself look good by the parts he plays.

Ah, come on --  you don't find him handsome? That's "crazy!" (Patsy-related pun intended)
    ;)
    Just kidding!
    :)
You're right, though - - Harris chooses his roles well.

He doesn't make me fall to pieces, but I do like his movies.

Nope.  I adore her too and have a whole station dedicated to her on Pandora.

That's cool. I'd have it, too, I bet, if I had Pandora.

You're saying you fall to pieces when she sings...

No.  You are not Crazy.  She is REALLY amazing.

I saw Jessica Lange play her life and she really did Patsy proud.

    I agree, she's amazing.
And, yes, so was Jessica Lange in "Sweet Dreams" movie.
    :)

And Ed Harris was nice to look at, too. He was good in a challenging part, from what I remember. This post was edited by WelbyQuentin at March 20, 2018 10:57 PM MDT

I saw a video clip of Patsy Cline singing "Crazy" a few years ago.  She was so natural, I felt like she was speaking to me personally rather than singing to a television audience.  Shortly after that I ordered one of he albums on tape.  She was a great performer, a great artist.

Funny, that's how she always strikes me, too - - that she is sharing a personal story with just me when she sings.

Believe it or not, I had not even caught that until long after I had posted the question.

Patsy Cline's career lasted just 16 years, 1947 to 1963, although some say she was entertaining her family at age 3. She died in an airplane crash.

For a while, I studied her life. I need to do it again. She intrigues me. Yes, a plane crash.
