  • I think they should stop mentioning the names of the shooters in these cases. These people want attention and infamy and that’s what they are getting because the media goes ham anytime this happens. I get why it needs to be talked about but these school shooters are trying to get the attention they’re missing in their day to day life. I get that it’s “justice” but theyre just getting what they want.

I cannot believe that this got ZERO attention.  That's what I can't believe.  Especially in the wake of what just happened in Florida.

The NRA needs to be disbanded.

The 2nd Amendment needs to be re-written.

the reason it got pretty much ignored...was because the target wasn't as soft as the shooter expected. he was shot and stopped almost as soon as he began...because the schools resource officer protected everyone else when he shot the shooter.

    1) the link you give do not mention any shots fired.

    2) The only places i have seen a an injuries count is in foreign news channels. and those counts were reported by students at the school (via Twitter).

I think what we have here is a student generated prank, rather than an actual shooting situation. A lie with the best of intentions (to stop school shootings) but with too little attention to detail to fool the cops.

"Three people, including the alleged gunman, were injured at Great Mills High School, the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office said, adding that no one died. The injured have all been transported to hospitals, the office added."

He shot two students.  The last I read one was critical and other doing fine.  The shooter was killed by the resource officer.   Try reading that link again.

Thank God, there was a school resource office there who actually did his job. He went in and engaged the shooter. The only one dead is the shooter.
    Thank you, Officer.

... but did you hear of the 2 school mass-stabbing incidents this year?  Both of which had over 20 victims.

No, we don't have to ban everything.  Americans live in a different world now.  Hardening institutions is going to happen and that's really the only way to protect the people inside from this kind of crazy person.  The sissying of America has been successful.  Until this generation, teenagers were capable of relationships, and the ends of them.  Now too many kids find it to be the end of a life worth living.  And as long as teens think Facebook and other social media is the most important thing in their lives.... brace yourselves.

Tell that kid that was shot in the neck because a TRAINED teacher discharged a gun.

    What a sissy.

Link? He was not shot in the neck. A piece of metal grazed his neck. The student did not have to seek medical attention, the father did take him in after school.

How many schools do they have to shoot up before you give them your guns?

Why would I give them my guns? I have never used a gun or any other weapon against anyone.

Defense, hunting, recreation....It is a Constitutional right...I don't have to need it.

A Constitutional "right" that has caused, and will continue to cause, death and misery to millions in the US until the 2nd Amendment is repealed. It's an anachronism, the Redcoats aren't coming anymore and the US has a well-equipped permanent army. No need for untrained militias.
Suicides, firearms accidents and mass shootings all dropped significantly in nations where gun laws were tightened. The UK and Australia are two cases in point.
