First study food stuffs and find out how big business adulterates them before selling them on to the masses.... Do your own research about everything your own government tells you....they only really want what's best for them and their own profits...
Reserch all GM products and refuse to buy it and never ever eat it ... Look at ways of protecting your enviroment and the welfare of every living thing that exist in your home area as well of far of places....
Try your best to recycle and not to pollute using bleach and other harsh cleaning products....they all end up in the seas and the fish we eat has to live in our waste products which we all have to eat....
Stats of small as your task ahead will be daunting...:(

Very good points, Nice Jugs;but I was thinking more in terms of "modern science" like the cosmos, nanotechnology , etc. Only a superficial study, not too detailed. But the points you raise are, I think, of more immediate concern, as they have to do with our survival.
Lol...do you have Sky .There are so many great sicence programmes \ documentories on there.....I watch them everytime I find one.... Look on Y.tube and Netflik they have some great documentaries on there covering sicence and also disclosing illegal government activities they would rather people don't know about..... There is also Area 51 and 52 in the Utah desert...all very interesting

Netflix is available in India, but I don't have it. I have Prime Video from Amazon, but they have no science documentaries. I'll try YouTube first, and see hpw it goes. Thank you.

To me, interest is the most important thing. I have been studying natural and physical sciences since I was 8. Even since I have retired as a science teacher, when something piques my interest I will research. You have hurdled the first step...you want to learn. Look at this and do some wondering.
Science is a mess. Study something more reliable: the bible. You only need five books to study the bible:
1. A King James bible. Other versions are ok, but the KJV is best for study 2. An English dictionary. 3. An Interlinear Greek-English Translation Of The New Testament, any brand. 4. An exhaustive concordance. There are several brands, but everybody seems to use Strong's. I like Young's because it is easier to use. 5. A Hebrew lexicon, if you study the old testament.
Here is an example study. Suppose you are reading and your attention is caught by Colossians 1:17 "And he is before all things, and by him all things consist." The Interlinear New Testament says "consist*ed" which means the word was translated by a different tense or case from the original. You look that word up in the concordance. The root meaning is "place together". It is used twelve times and ten of them are translated "approve" or "commend". Why is this usage translated differently? You check the other verses for context and conclude that this usage should have been translated the same as the others, "commended" or "approved". Some people object because they use that verse to support the trinity. Well, it does not support it. And that is how you learn to rightly divide the word of truth, as it says in 2 Timothy 2:15.
It only takes a few weeks of studying the bible to learn more than anybody in your church knows, including the minister. That is because almost nobody studies the bible; they study what other people have said about the bible. You have to be careful to be polite, because you can run rings around those people. You will be quoting passages from memory while they are thumbing through tracts and commentaries trying to find something to say.
It depends on what you want to learn and what you hope to do with it.. Here a lot is offered in terms of adult education courses... if you don't already have a science qualification you could maybe get one... but other than that... pick a topic and just research as much as you like..
