At my age we don't call it lust. We call it reminiscing.

  • Saw her briefly on Abag but no direct contact. Why do you ask?  This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at April 15, 2018 4:04 AM MDT

After 30 years together (celebrating 29 years of marriage this coming June) if I'm making that mistake, I'm happy to keep on being mistaken.

  • (Not according to Flip Wilson)

Love is the feeling you feel
    When you're about to feel
A feeling you've never felt before! ... Flip Wilson

For me love is about every day, not just when I want or have sex.  Lust is not just about arousal, desire for sex, but I also lust for comfort, familiarity, good times, feeling good about myself and the person I have chosen.  Minds and hearts meeting and feeling at ease.  Sex brings us closer to someone and can bind us.  But not to the extent of those other things.

What's Love Got to Do with It
    Tina Turner
You must understand though the touch of your hand
    Makes my pulse react
That it's only the thrill of boy meeting girl
    Opposites attract
    It's physical
    Only logical
You must try to ignore that it means more than that ooo
What's love got to do, got to do with it
What's love but a second hand emotion
What's love got to do, got to do with it
Who needs a heart when a heart can be broken
