I can't speak for any other men but I've never been intimidated by anyone, man or woman. :)

That's a very good thing. As long as you don't try to intimidate anyone I'd say that's a very good thing. Thank you for your reply ru and Happy Friday to you! :)

You know the ones who make me laugh? The ones who say they are real men and then go on to spout utter rubbish denigrating women.. Ahh so you can only feel superior and manly when you are belittling and putting someone else, whom you perceive to be weaker, down. Not very manly if you ask me and personally I disrespect such people.

Of course you know who is best example of the worst vis a vis my question? Goofydoofylucy. He has a real problem with women. He can't hold his own so he attacks them or sexualizes them or patronizes them or degrades them. He is the poster child for all that is subpar in males. Thank you for your reply and Happy Friday to thee Addb!:)

Anyone can intimidate anyone else – regardless of his or her gender.

What constitutes a “strong man”?  Being a macho a-hole?  Being a good provider?  Being domineering?  Society differs on its definition of what a “strong man” is.

Odd. I should have thought you would see the question as extremely simple to answer. President Barack Obama is a strong man. Goofydoofylucy is a very weak man. His history with women speaks for itself vis a vis my question. To me it is obvious. To you it is apparently complex. As I said. Odd. Thank you for your questions. I cannot answer them for you. Only you can. Happy Friday Shuhak.

Oops.  My answer is incomplete.  I meant to delineate my questions further.   Sorry about that.  (Even worse, I ended a sentence with a preposition!)

Go for it! Language is viable and not static. It is meant to be played with, toyed with and have fun with. Dangle your prepositions. Spell your words as you wish. Make up your own words as I do. If I have a problem understanding you I will ask for clarification. Meanwhile enjoy communication with flair and jazzy pizzazzy creativity and vitality! Thank you for your additional comment Shuhak. Appreciate it! :) This post was edited by RosieG at April 22, 2018 8:19 AM MDT

Nonsense. Anyone can be intimidated by anyone. The difference is that when a woman is intimidated by someone (male or female), it doesn't matter. It doesn't make her less of a woman in the eyes of society. A man who is intimidated by someone (male or female), is considered less of a man and therefore may wish to hide his weakness.

When is a woman ever belittled for not being "confident in her femininity"? It just doesn't mean anything. When is it ever implied that a woman is not a real woman? It doesn't matter how ugly she is or how lacking she is in all traditionally feminine virtues. A woman is a woman. There is no test for her to pass.

Margaret Thatcher was a strong woman. She was so intimidating she was known to reduce grown men to tears. Were the men who didn't like her just "intimidated by a strong woman"?

This "real men are not intimidated by strong women" argument is just manipulation to make men tolerate the bitchiness of butch feminists.

The threat of emasculation has always been used to control men. The phrase "not a real man" is a linguistic slave driver's whip. This kind of argument tries to convince men it is weak to resist and strong to meekly accept domination.
