How many people on here do you ignore because they wrote one comment to you that offended you?

I have two.  Maybe there not here anymore.  Maybe they are.

Only one...but he is gone forever. Don't remember his name. Called me a racist.

  • I'm not one to hold a grudge. I know that I've gotten into spats with users before, but at the moment I can't even recall with whom.

What if I can't answer this because I'm ignoring you?  Hey, wait . . .

Some people have made comments that irritated me, but I can't remember who they were or what they said. I usually just get over it and forget about it.

I don't deliberately ignore anyone if it seems they offended me because it may actually mean that they like me.

Ok it reminds me of a guy I was in high school with -he was always avoiding/ignoring a certain girl he thought he didn't like and she would insult/offend him to get his attention.
To make a long story short they ended up getting married and was a successful marriage too.

I answer questions selectively. I tend to skip over postings from those who, in my eyes, have shown a pattern of promoting their own opinions and biases rather instead of truly interacting. I don't think I've ever had a single comment so egregious that it warranting completely ignoring someone.

(But what about all those restraining orders? Don't you think they cause me pain and sadness?)

Any amount or any type of attention from you means the world to me, you should know that by now.

Not sure but if I ignore them it is because they usually add nothing to the discussion and only use their replies to draw attention to themselves away from the question. Pretty pathetic when they also use it as an opportunity to slight the question and/or the person posting it but you know what? Losers and trolls stalking the internet come with the territory and I like you know who they are. Often a slight is a defense mechanism after touching a nerve and an easily recognized pattern. Other than that they are just trolls at heart. This post was edited by O-uknow at April 20, 2018 9:10 PM MDT

No would take lots more than that.  And even then I still need and enjoy contact with people.

I really don't care to be disagreeable or contrary in general but I get drawn into issues then I feel I must defend my point of view or express what I see as a valid contradictory viewpoint.

Recently someone I have been friends with for a long time both on this site and another questioned the authenticity of my experience which quite took me aback until I realized that I had done something she had felt hurt by.
