Would you consider exchanging homes with someone to have accommodations while on vacation?

I do it a lot and have not had any serious problems.  It sure saves a lot on hotel bills.

No ,I couldn't bare the thought of strangers going into my shoe room and touching or even looking at my defenceless babies......:(

We've talked about this before and I still know I would never allow strangers to come into my home and use my stuff.  I also would not want to go into someone else's home and have to use theirs.  This is not for me.  :)

It's not that bad.  Most people are pretty respectful.  I did have one family though that lost my mask and fins, an ice chest and broke the lock on our car.  That cost about $400 to fix but we saved more than $2,000 by not having to get other accommodations.  It has been great for us.  This summer we're going to England and Scotland for six weeks.  That would not be possible otherwise. • "No"  Most of my vacations are spent on two wheels
and I take my vacation home with me.

    Nope.
I don't even like staying overnight at friends' houses.

Other people's homes smell weird.  LOL

And you have no idea who has a key ... or if there are hidden cameras.
