No and way I could be sure of that would be by going around and asking all my friends if they think I'm a sucker and I bet they would all say - no way man. Cheers!.

  • Of course not. I'm one of the smart and aware ones.

I'm also aware enough to realize that everyone will say this same thing.

I guess.  Since I was born and they say there is one born every minute.

    How can I escape?

I'm sure I lack experience in all the various ways one might be taken for a ride, but I'm a quick study. You might get me once, but won't get me twice... Assuming you can get me at all.

I wouldn't say I am a sucker, Rosie, but I do love the song called "Sucker". Mott The Hoople are one of my all-time favourite bands. Happy Tuesday, Rosie!:)

I envy you m'dear. I do. I have been a sucker in the past and sad-to-sad more than once for the same thing though it was different situations. So I guess I'm not as smart or quick as you are! Thank you for your reply FNR and Happy Wednesday! :)

Hi there AndyB! I have never heard of it or the group. Well I have been a sucker in the past...more than once. It is not anything I'm proud of. It just is. Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday to thee! :)

There are numerous things that women do quite innocently and often quite unknowingly that hook me through the nose.

Never heard of them? How about Foghat?  Maybe the J. Geils band? I actually have a pair of admission tickets for Ted Nugent right now. Ever heard of him? He is one of the all time greatest rock & roll guitar players and he will be playing right in front of me. Yee-hah!

The band did have a sizeable following in the USA and they recorded their live album in New York (including a live version of "Sucker"). Two other bands who went on to achieve greater success toured with Mott The Hoople as support bands in 1973 and 1974. One was Queen, and the other was Aerosmith. Now you know how those two bands first began to get noticed.

Happy Wednesday to you too, Rosie!:)

Never heard of Foghat. Have heard of the J. Geils band. I know WHAT Nugent is and dislike the entire package. Thank you for your reply and Happy Thursday bh. Especially when the Nugent opens its mouth and spouts political hate. The Nugent is great at doing that. Not my cuppa tea.

You're welcome, Rosie. I'm a mine of information when it comes to old rock music, and I like to share my knowledge of it with others whenever I can. Happy Thursday to you too!:)

I've heard of Foghat, although I haven't got any CDs of theirs. As for Ted Nugent, I like his music, but that's all I do like about him. The less said about his politics the better. Lol:)
