    True story:

    Playing guitar in church before the service one morning, a string broke - the third highest in pitch, tuned to 'G'. Without thinking, I intoned, "Blast, I've broken my 'G' string" - and my mike was 'hot'. The entire congregation roared laughing.

    One of those facepalm moments ..
