To those of you without teeth - what is it like to gum everything you eat?

I wonder what “gumming” everything you eat is like. Can you describe it?

And do you eat with dentures? If you don’t, why not? If you do, how different does it feel to eat with dentures as opposed to regular teeth?

I wonder what having a limited capacity for thought entails.

    Can you tell me that?

I guess there won't much to this answer after the swearing is edited out.

The worst part is when you still have a tooth or two and you bite your bare gum every time you try to blow your nose.

Corn kernels in your poop because you couldn't chew them.

Crackers are hard to take -- literally.

I am very fond of shortbread cookies, but there is only one brand that is soft enough to eat without soaking. After soaking, you have mush, not cookies.

You really prefer to eat without your dentures. If you get a grain of bread crust between the denture and the gum, it's game over.
