I tried that, but I can't seem to save time.  It's always gone before I can save it.  (sigh) Time Waits for no man.

You'll need to make sure that there is no charge for replacing the battery....plus keep a watch on the guy that changes the battery....it shouldn't  take a minute to do it    ...... :)

I found a reliable place to get the battery replaced. Couple of times my watch stopped ticking after a new battery,  took it back -guy looks at it and says 'needs cleaning; 20 bucks'. Hah! He probably gummed it up with something. Guess they need something to do when business is slow.

I've never heard of a battery watch needing cleaning.....it's electronic with no moving parts....
Id think I'd look for another reliable place ....:(

It has to have moving parts to turn the hands. Some gears and such. And a tiny motor.

You know how I get when something sciency is going on. I maintained the most accurate clock in the world while I was in the Navy.

About a half-hour a day tweaking it. Nobody else had the patience to do it. I maintained its accuracy to one-billionth of a second. In case you think I am full of BS...here is an updated version of the one we had.

None whatsoever. I am a sweaty guy, and the area under a wristwatch start stinking quite fast.
