Yes,..,Bats live everywhere in England....they are all protected species....I go to a friend near Standstead airport 25 miles north of London....at dusk you can see them flashing about the skys catching insects.... They are amazing and eat tons of bugs each night.... Vampire vats live in South America...I don't think there are any in England... English bats are harmless....they help keep the insects at bay...
I don't think I would go in the Bat cave Rosie....Robin might get to excited :) Geese are brilliant watch dogs....they hiss and go quite cranky when disturbed.
I've seen pictures of bat caves as being part of tours and I just don't get it! My fear of birds (even though bats aren't birds) would definitely prevent me from doing that. I guess I'm not really fond of anything overhead. So we need not fear vampire bats unless we are in South America. Remind never to visit there! English bats are harmless? I wonder if that kind of bat would make a good pet? Is it only geese/gooses or are ducks and swans good "watchdogs" too D? You have an appreciation of some types of living things that I do not. Ever been traumatized by a dog or other animals? I think I'm gonna ask that question. Thank you for your reply D and Happy Sunday to thee! :)
With out all other types of living things ,we would not be alive and living here now.... In a normal world we would be all eaten by a huge variety of animals ,birds and even fish.....we should be still part of the food chain ,it's just how nature and evolution designed all life... If you live in the Himalayas and other parts of the world.....When you die your body is carried high up into the mountains where it is broken open for birds of prey to eat and dispose of .....Stranglely it eradicates all diseases and infections.... Yes....English Bats are harmless and help keep insects down by eating them...Bats that live in huge cave colonies in America devour countless tons of insects each and every night....Each night they leave their cave system and fly five miles up to reach huge insect swans..... You need your Bats more than us over here......:)
"Bats in the belfry " bats? We have more than enough. Blind as bat? All of "someone's" worshippers are that. In every way. AARRGGHH. Thank you for your reply D! :)
