Do you abhor slang with a passion?

    I like slang terms; heard lots when I was in the Navy also as a rail employee.
    Eg. Slang for a sticking angle cock on a rail car was a 'stiff cock' and naval term for one's child was 'my sprog'.

    I think slang is the bee's knees or the Dogs DoDars .....We don't have it in England though.....:(
