No. That's what I would do to keep bugs away. I think flies are attracted to poop. If anyone ever tells you that they have a bug problem, tell them to wash their ass. LoL!
The West of Scotland is notorious for midges which are having a good year. To avoid being eaten alive, I'll invest in some Jungle Formula before we visit later this year.
