Why do people have different colored eyes?

I have blue eyes and I wonder why? LoL!






Do you think that somewhere out there is a planet of blue people?
Like maybe they travelled here a long, long time ago and they mated with a human and then left?

    Blue eyes are not actually blue. It is a mechanical arrangement of tissues that reflect blue light and not other colors.

    LOL ahh but how do you know the blue people didn't have pink or even orange eyes :P  I only know that dominant and recessive genes determine eye colour

    That's interesting.
    They know how some eyes change color and what eye colors are likely to occur within humans nowadays.
    I still don't know if they've ruled out the possibility of alien genes originally.

    Maybe I can understand aliens better because I have blue eyes. ; )
