A half-gallon a week. Only my wife drinks it, and sparingly. I never touch the stuff.

I only go to a grocery store a couple times a year, so I only buy bottled milk when I have room to freeze it. The rest of the time I just use powdered milk. I get meat for a buck or two per pound, so I don't often want to make space in the freezer for liquid milk.

Gee -  based on the three answers so far, I'm a milk-a-holic. A gallon of skim milk lasts less than a week for me. Just me. [I drink a Breakfast Essential (formerly Carnation Instant Breakfast) at least once a day. Regardless o he picture, I drink the chocolate-flavored mix.]

Yikes -- the picture came along beside a study that drinking lots of milk boosts prostate cancer possibilities. I can't win for lose.

I don't buy it anymore.  I keep some in the freezer for cooking; I also keep powdered milk for cooking or if someone wants milk in their coffee.

It would last until I poured its curdled remains down the drain. Unless you count almond milk, which I use instead when I have cold cereal and to make my oatmeal. It lasts 2-3 weeks. I just noticed the 'use within 7 days of opening' on my carton. Too late now, and it hasn't killed me.
