That depends on a few things.
If you are twinkly on your toes and can swish around the room like Ginger Rogers, not a big one.
If you have a foot and shoe fetish, it is HUGE!
If you are worried where they might end up and be seen after the party, this could be a problem, too.

It's all up to your talents in fashion, style, and cover stories.

Darling, nobody but nobody goes to a dance barefoot. Just the way you walk looks funny. You take the shoes off AFTER you get there.

Oh I think very important which is perhaps why I don't own an evening gown.  Get by in cocktail dresses.

Now you've got class Sunshine!  Thinking ahead lets you slide across the floor with intent, not by mistakes!
Look out Ginger Rogers!! :) :)

The free and natural look.  Very "posh" in a round-a-bout way.  This look works well when you have beautiful feet, like this lady does. I have flat feet like a neanderthal. I'm not sure I would do it today because my big, flat feet have become sensitive with age.  But, I like entertaining the thought :) :)

At first I thought that was a skating costume. Skaters are very fond of flesh colored fabrics because they can stay warm while still looking very racy.

I watch a lot of ice skating. Only couples, though. The men always skate face first, and the women always skate fanny first.
