A 2-year-old dies of a self-inflicted gunshot wound alone in a bedroom in a Fresno, Californis home. Fresno Police Department Lt. Rob Peck told station  KFSN the parents weren't home but the child was being watched by family friends. It is unclear to whom the gun belongs.

Merrillville, Indiana a  3-year-old shoots her pregnant mother from the backseat of a car. The gun was a 9 mm glock  19 for those of you who are familiar with guns

In a hotel in Wickliffle, Ohio a mother accidentally shoots and kills her 2-year-old daughter

    My reference to knives and hangings was not about using as a defense for victims of assault (physical or sexual) It was about the "red herring" of only comparing accidental deaths as opposed to intentional....if someone is determined to murder they will find a way it rock or knife or gun etc. 
    And my knowledge of the zombie knife killings is from BBC so as you have pointed out it must be fair and balanced as it is a UK news source and they are all balanced and unbiased.

    No, I would give up my gun to save my children. But I do believe that if someone/some government is giving me that choice....they will not be safe for long.
