I just had some good news... how should I celebrate?

Been having a really tough time, medically and with my employer's response to my medical condition, and illness caused by stress..  But I got some good news today from the Occupational Health assessor they made me go see... It's not by any means winning the race but it is another hurdle crossed successfully...

I am so relieved! So now what? What should I do to celebrate?

Happiness/smiling is free.  Put up two thumbs to getting a favorable result from their initial meeting with your people...

  • Something that's stress-relieving ...

    Go to your Gun Club,
paint your Boss's picture on a target
and shot it full of holes!!

Go eat a fattening meal with a friend and toss back a couple of pints.

I know all too well how stress can injure a person (been there, did that).  And I applaud that you're making steps (it's a slow road to recovery).  Might I suggest doing something you like doing to celebrate - going somewhere special to eat, having a spa day, buying yourself clothes ... whatever makes you feel happy and relaxed.

For lack of medical specifics (and that isn’t a bad thing in today’s social media environment) it’s difficult to suggest what would be an appropriate form of celebration.
Stress relief is it’s own reward, so perhaps have a go at something that takes it further, like Shuhak suggests a spa treatment (I know, they aren’t free) or a get-together with good friends to break bread and share the joy.

Others have said basically, along the same lines, what I would have.
    Hope things are still swell.
