Yuck to shaving chests? I don't mind either way to be honest, lol perhaps I am just desperate or easily pleased but hairy or non-hairy is fine with me. 

I can only speak for me.  I have no hair there, but I do have massive amounts of feathers that I need to pluck and prune.

Of course not.  That hair has been there for many years now and I just couldn't bare to shave it (you might say I've kind of become attached to it).

  Nope, not any more. When the grey hairs began to show up a few years ago, I was extremely self-conscious about it (not that I was continually baring my unclothed chest and torso for the entire world to see) that I shaved.
  Believe it or not, it was an AnswerBag member who convinced me to stop sharing it. There was no direct admonishment from her to me, it was just reading certain comments she made in her posts about hairiness vs greyness, and soon I was cured.
