I realize that the sound of a screaming audience, in the back ground, doesn't change a performer's abilities, but I prefer studio recordings where I get to hear what I paid to hear.
It is like walk-in movie theaters. As a kid, I hated walk-in movie theaters. Kids screaming for their Hero and me not able to hear the movie.
I don't like to hear crowd noises in the background, either. :) I think I've heard this song when you've maybe posted it before? Unsure. It's nice.

(I've always thought Steve Perry has a fantastic voice) :)
And I've always loved The Pointer Sisters -- especially here, when all four of them were in the group and they sang jazz. (Though I love their pop-soul stuff, too!)
Even their studio records have a "live" sound to them -- excitement, whether fast or slow. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but I love the tight fast jazz. But they're just as good when they're slow and taking their time. This is a 28 minutes-long recording -- I've never listened all the way through. I should sometime soon.
