My guess is you refer to Obama’s comments at a National Prayer Breakfast. Yes he was wrong, but he was, in historical context, correct.

Insulting the audience of Christians he was speaking to, by comparing them to the Muslim-driven cancers raging in the Middle East at that time was in poor taste, but in terms of historical bodycount, Christians still lead the contest by a wide margin. But we cannot stand on moral relativism of events five hundred or a thousand years apart. That’s the primary wrong in Obama’s lecture.

The problem isn’t just Christianity or Islam, it’s the nature and practice of man’s primitive religions that hath forged so much ill and destruction and mass death. No faith system is stainless here (except maybe the Jains) and we’d do well to remember that. This post was edited by Don Barzini at July 20, 2018 4:10 PM MDT

Well, while he was giving that distraction he was signing off on the removal of everyone's privacy rights in order to spy on everyone.

That was actually under the so-called “Patriot Act” enacted under GW Bush.

Didn't Obama permit the mass surveillance program of the NSA?

I think he did. It didn’t begin on his watch, and was an outgrowth of the Patriot Act

Your fancy graph, while informative, provides nothing in the specific context of this conversation. Who said anything about wars? This post was edited by Don Barzini at October 5, 2018 12:10 AM MDT

Genuine Christianity has never engaged in the immoral bloodshed Christendom is guilty of. (John 13:35)

Although the Inquisition and the Crusades were sanctioned by the Church in Rome, and they made life rather unpleasant for Jews and Muslims.
