Now if I were to tell you the everyone would know then everyone would survive and then there wouldn't be enough water to go around ... er... not that I'm saying there won't be any water.  Because .. uh .. there'll be plenty of water.  Yes, plenty.  No need to even worry about.  Why, just forget I even said anything about it.  My isn't the weather warm today.

Fresh water has always been a HUGE concern of mine.  I am a big water activist.  Many people take it for granted.  I am with you!
Thanks Shuhak :) :) This post was edited by Merlin at July 20, 2018 12:25 PM MDT

We are all going to survive the Apocalypse.

We just are going to move on with no body.

    We don't die.
This old thing has to go anyway, what care I?

Why fear?  Death is near for all of us.

What I fear?  Living in a cage under the rule of a moron I cannot escape. That is hell.

One of the things I really like about the themes emerging in post-apocalyptic/ end-of-civilization movies and TV these days is the human behavior patterns in the aftermath. Take Walking Dead, for example. It's not so much a zombie show as it is one about the behavior of people following the downfall of civilization. You have lots of different groups- some resorting to extremes for survival, with others attempting to be altruistic. Yet, even the altruistic guys get it wrong sometimes.

Anyway, I'd probably just be trying to lay low. I'd help people where I could, but my primary concern would be looking after the survivors in my group. I'd probably leave the desert and head north, provided it was safe to do so. Beyond that, survival is pretty much it.

You and I are the same in that way.  I would offer my services and knowledge to any and all people within my realm.  I'm not a hoarder and clutter drives me crazy so I don't have anything but a backpack full of things for Don and I to survive for 3 days.  Water would be my main concern.

I will take your word on the Walking Dead.  I see how that will and can happen.  People seem to attract personalities like their own and forming groups.  Birds of a feather... as they say.  The funny thing about the Walking Dead is the whole concept is biologically impossible.  I've never watched an entire episode.  I am, however, a big fan of SuperNatural and the lead guy in the Walking Dead used to play Sam and Dean's dad.  Another topic.

To conclude, we would be a great team if we were in the same group.  If not, I'd know you were out there somewhere doing the best you could to help everyone in your reach.  :)  Oh, before I go, thanks for reminding me to re-certify my CPR.  When you brought it up a few months ago, I went ahead and did it, finally! :) :)  Yipppeee!! Pinch myself to see if I'm still in the flesh, no feeling means I'm in the spirit

That depends on what the apocalypse turns out to be.
