Your significant other doesn't come home after a night out. Your reaction?

A) Call all the hospitals.
B) Gather up bail money.
C) Call/ text everyone you both know frantically until someone tells you where they wound up.
D) Change the locks. Hopefully the person they stayed with will take them in because they're not welcome back.
E) Wait patiently. Surely there's a good explanation. 
F) Something else. (Please explain.)

    If they decide, on the spur of the moment, to spend the night with someone else rather than with us then I think it is natural to question their interest in us or commitment to us.
