Good point. People can't read another's mind. We think we can but we are only discerning the subtle actions on how we view them to be. Excellent thought. And I DO feel and mean that. I'm not just saying it! Big giggles! :) :)
Big giggles back to you! On an entirely different note, right this second, I'm REALLY wondering why is my computer running so frickin' slow and why is it doubling all my anwers when I haven't hit the post button two times or three! Grrrrrr.
Bible quotes are almost always quotes from some random preacher who didn't actually remember exactly what the bible says. F'rinstance they say "six days of creation" but the bible says "in the beginning".
This will blow your mind: the bible clearly describes four men crucified with Jesus, not two. https://www.google.com/search?q=five+crucified
When something is in black and white it is hard to argue with it. Some might be lost in perception or preaching to someone else. I see your point. :) :)
That is a perfect example of not seeing the forest because the trees are in the way.
Who CARES how many. Is that the message? How many? Or the DAYS? LIKE THERE WERE DAYS when Eons of time needed to elapse. THESE WORDS are just that. WORDS. Guidelines to open your MIND and THINK for YOURSELF.
Not count how many people are in the story and whether it even matters if there is one or ten dozen.
Genesis 17:1 I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
Deuteronomy 18:13 Thou shalt be perfect with the Lord thy God.
Deuteronomy 25:15 But thou shalt have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure shalt thou have: that thy days may be lengthened in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
Perfect perfect perfect. Get the point? The bible is given to us as a book of instructions on how to be perfect, so we must verify that it is perfect.
You apparently think you have a better idea. Ok, you are on your own.
What some people mean when they are still learning to speak English. My friend was from China and was interested in different sports activities then one time she asked me "what (do) you do for fisting"? Taken aback somewhat at first it dawned upon me she meant 'fitness'.
I'm giggling and wincing all at once! The English language is such a fickle one anyway, it is no wonder things get lost in translation. I would have thought she was talking exclusively about "boxing." I'm glad you got that straightened out :) :)
This is huge. Many people want to be big and bad making the other feel inferior. The power of a smile is much stronger than a fist and does so much more. I believe a kind person has a much better adventure than the big and bad. If that isn't strength, I don't know what is. Thanks Beans :) :)
Sharing the warmth and the feeling. It is very contagious. Others would be surprised if they looked back on their actions after some stranger, sincerely, smiled at them when they passed by. Just look at someone at smile. If ever a song gets stuck in your head, let it be "Joy to the World."
Beans, just so you know, I looked back on my choice of words stuck in our heads and I meant the song, Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea, joy to you and me.... I didn't realize it was a religious song. Not that it makes a difference. I'm sure it means much to many and I don't want to take that away from them.. My "Joy to the World" was a chorus from "Jeremiah was a bullfrog..." by Three Dog Night. :) :)

Most people think they are the body, they are born and die and that's it, not realizing that they are so much more than the physical body that they live within. .....Have a great day my friend.
