    I had home economics in elementary school.  I hated that class because it was the only class I ever failed.  Umm yeah, I flunked cooking but the cookies I tried to bake turned into a really cool gooey sticky tar like substance!

    Well I HATED gym class as I don't like sports and not good at them.....also never liked arithmetic!!  always bad grades; algebra? forget it; may as well be all in Greek!!!

    had a real problem doing long and short division by hand....to this day, at 75, I couldn't do it if my life depended on it!!!   thank GOD for calculators...........yay!!!!!!!

    also hated civics.......the branches of government, etc., and on and on and on...

    But now,as an adult looking back, I think it was more the way it was presented than the fact that the subject was 'boring' anything presented in a good way is never dull.......oh well!!!!

    and geography!!!  good grief.....recently I looked at a map of the USA with no state names filled in?  all I could get were all the states on the borders!!!!!

    my family tells me I'm 'geographically illiterate, and I guess I am........LOL..

    Had NO idea where the Dakotas were, or TN., etc..

    pathetic, huh?

    oh well!!!

    I'm 75 now and have gotten along just fine so far not knowing this nonsense!!!!!!!!!
