We used call the police the "fuzz."

    They are called the Pigs nere in England as well as ....The Gathers ,Plod ,Coppers , The Filth ...Noddys ....blue bottles ,The Rozzers...The Turpins ...as in Highway Robbers....

    There are so many more ,but I can't think of them at the moment....:(

    Stoped by them you mean ?  More when I was 17 -18-19 years old..... I'd get stopped by them fairly often when out with my friends.....
    They never liked it when I asked why I was stopped and many just made things up...I'm sure lots of them just wanted a good ole  ogle as we all looked pretty young..
    I don't get stopped any more ...

    Well, fuzz seems to be attracted to my socks, a lot.  I seem to pick the fuzz up not the other way around.
