I don't know any of the facts yet....Perhaps the reason is similar to the people that were killed in the Duck Boat accident last week.  Bad Choices?

I just caught the end of the news report......it's was instant shock that a fire can come down a mountain and destroy their concrete buildings....They don't know how many have died yet and it could be an act of arson

News sites say - seems like very hot dry conditions along with gale force winds caused the rapid fire spread - arson is suspected as the initial cause....

I just spoke to a Greek friend that lives in the area......there whole family escaped thankfully and said many people ran into the sea to escape the fire and many of them just drowned ,there was not enough boats to pick people up in....

Media is distracting away judgment happening on a global scale. A purge, not man made, may be in effect. The Most High fights for his creations. This post was edited by O-uknow at July 26, 2018 5:01 AM MDT

Only speculation.  No way of ascertaining that for sure.

Thankfully the fires didn't reach Athens, where the death toll would have been catastrophic. The nearby town of Mati was razed. I hope they catch the perp - and burn him alive.

Well, I'm Not Sure. Got a link to the story?

ETA: I read one story. It sounds like they built a town specifically to die this way. This post was edited by Not Sure at July 27, 2018 1:41 AM MDT

So sad, i was in Athens, Greece over four years ago. I absolutely loved being there. I was a delegate at the "keep seeking God's kingdom first" 2014 international convention as a Jehovah's witness. I have wonderful memories of my Grecian brotherhood. It is heartbreaking to think of what my brothers and sisters have gone through, as well as the rest of the Grecian people.
