No we were going to put our bid. (Full asking price seller pays closong costs) and another couple put their bid in first same as our planned bid. And our realtor found out that is what they offered. So we changed ours to full asking price and we paid the closing costs. ($3500) So we got the house. Heard the other realtor was mad as heck. After the appraisal came in it was high enough we rolled the closing costs in to the mortgage. So when we closed we actually got all of our earnest money back. Title Co said that does not happen often.

Yes, I found the perfect place for me and my business. A corner lot with a nice large home and a workshop in the back. It was on a commercial/residential lot. The home could be easily converted to a business with living in there as well. It had a huge basement, something very unusual in that state. I made an offer but a real estate agent somehow pulled a fast one and grabbed it right out from under me. I had a good down, great credit, everything was set. Grrrrr, I was upset. After I got over the initial shock I realized the Lord must have something better in store for me.
I've only ever purchased one home and they accepted the first offer. I don't even think anyone else was bidding on our home. It had been vacant for a while before we got it.
Yes. We got it anyway. We knew the builder was in trouble so we paid cash and agreed to close in 8 days....I lived in that house for over thirty years and now my grandkids are growing up there, just like their mother.
