In any language(s), what are some months or days that make for good names to give to children? ~

  • I actually had a school friend called Tuesday, but she was mad as a boxof frogs. Not sure if the two were related.

    But anything in German must be lovely.

    May, June, April were all pretty common names when I was growing up.

  • Other than May, June, and April, I'm not sure. None of the days of the week seems to work well in English. And Japanese, the other language I'm most familiar with, is a bad contender for naming people after calendar terms. Their names for the months are simply 1-month, 2-month, 3-month, etc.
