"Be quiet in church, the hospital, in class, after 10:00 pm, in the movie theater, art gallery and on the operating table, they put me to sleep so I couldn't scream. :)

Just the other day I finished reading about this horrific event in Georgia in 1946. But I swear that unfortunately there were many more lynchings after 1946? This one just happened to be a mass lynching of four people at once. The title is rather misleading. Maybe it should have read "the last mass lynching"? But maybe I'm wrong. No one was ever convicted or brought forth for trial for murdering these people even though the community knew many people in the mob that did the murders. The book was not so enjoyable to read.

It is a "Shiver me timbers" to think/read of man's inhumanity to man...

I just read the article. Interesting how the eventual result of that was the bankruptcy of the KKK.

My other comment had read "Just read the article." I realized that that could be taken in the PRESENT tense, as an order for someone to read the article. I had meant it in the past - - that "I had just read the article." I changed the comment's wording.
With the standard government issue threat, "You either be demoted, reassigned or fired." None of those things happened. They had to let me go with full benefits because of harassment. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha HHHAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
