But sometimes how you SHOULD live your life, the advice of others is sound. Only a fool despises instruction. I'm not calling you a fool. I'm just saying learning comes by hearing. Be mindful who you listen to.
I am cautious of who I take advice from. If I need help I will seek it. My answer was a facetious answer. I have been throug therapy in the past. My loved ones know I’m fine.
I do. I have two wooden file cabinets and a wooden bookcase that must be assembled. I've determined I can't do it but the truth is I don't want to. I'm going to find someone who wants to earn some money and has some experience. I have a suggestion from a friend and I shall call him on the weekend.
Are they from IKEA? With the manual originally written in Danish, then translated to Japanese, then translated to English ... so nobody can figure them out?
No. They are solid cherry but came unassembled. The maker went out of business. They are heavy and I just don't want to try to tackle it. I haven't looked at the instructions yet. I don't like the kind of furniture from Ikea. It's like for temporary housing it seems. I wasn't going to buy such heavy duty cabinets but I couldn't turn down the deal. I just don't like to do some of the things I've always done, like assembling furniture. I still enjoy refinishing a small piece now and then.
