1. Don't count shutting down the government.
2. Example: Blocking legislations to certain bills. Like Teachers and First Responders Act of 2011---to rehire 400,000 teachers, firefighters, paramedics, and police officers. Like blocking a bill for healthcare for first responders after 9/11.
3. I would say---8 years of obstruction.
Do you know any?
All of that is what Congress does. This is just your first time at the rodeo.
YES,YEs, yes..and more.. Republicans in Congress have attempted to repeal Obamacare maybe more than 60 times..while other important bills linger in limbo..
Republicans have not adequately responded to 25 years of economic dislocation and wage stagnation..- Washington Post..
Hold on here. Why are teachers and first responders mixed together? The teachers teach liberalism to our kids. Eff that ! They need to teach in such a way so as to allow the child to weigh the differences. They taught my stepdaughter to be a liberal. I had no idea it was happening. Eventually, she learned on her own that liberals cause taxes to go up. She doesn't like that.
The Washington Post is very liberal. Have you ever been to Washington DC lately? It is a sad sight to see all the big government freeloaders in the streets.
A fool finds no pleasure in understanding but delights in airing his own opinions.
(Racial Hearsay thoughts on D.C.)
Nothing. Though it's irrelevant anyway.
Obstruction is a perfectly valid political action. Both sides obstruct each other all the time. Obstruction is what politics is.
It seems that you see your own side's obstruction as something else. You see it as some noble struggle for what you believe.
Why do you expect your enemy to just lay down and die? I don't expect you to just stop fighting. In fact your conviction is actually only thing I admire about you.
Your question is incoherent. What exactly do you think "economy" means? The government's relation to "economy" is like a pickpocket. If the picking stops, who loses?
