Ya gotta know your audience. UN members are not trumpican worshippers. He bragged about his accomplishments/they laughed at him! Didja know?

He forgot where he was apparently. He thought he was at one of his staged rallies with trumpicans in the audience so he did his usual bragging about all he has accomplished and after he said something about "the most accomplishments in US history" the audience burst into laughter! The whole world was represented in that room and they were all laughing at him. He said "I didn't expect that reaction". Wonder how he will spin that derisive laughter or if he is even aware that they were laughing AT HIM. Humiliated is what he should have been but we all know he will spin the laughter into a good thing.  Wait and see.  Tee hee hee hee! Sheesh!

    The man's hubris and narcissism are certainly laughable. Has any other POTUS actually been laughed at? (GWB was the butt of a lot of jokes, but I can't recall any reports of the UN laughing out loud at him).

    I think not too Sbf. But super don made up for it in that all his firsts are deplorable reprehensible terrible awful horrible! Every single one of them. I'm gonna ask. A doofus don award? There should be some acknowledgement of that unique singular feat, right? You be thinking about it couldja? We Americans are very prejudiced up or down. I think you Aussies can see it better at a distance. Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday! :)

    Exactly WHAT has his administration accomplished, other than scandal upon scandal, the gutting of the EPA and several EOs overturned as being unconstitutional? Economists believe that the current strength of the market is DESPITE Trump, not because of him. It's what economies tend to do in a global recovery.

    Lower taxes, less regulations, fewer illegals to compete with legal workers jobs, improving trade deals, ....those do increase the economy. The "new normal" of the Obama era has been blown away.

    Have you asked any farmers their opinion of these so-called "improved trade deals"? This pointless trade war with China is RUINING them. The reduction in taxes (for the wealthy) is doing nothing to improve the economy beyond the stock market - it's being invested in share buybacks and paper wealth-creation schemes (some of dubious legality). The deficit continues to increase at an accelerating rate, taxes contribute to paying that down and there's less revenue available.
    Most of the rest can be attributed to the global recovery - the US since Trump's inauguration has actually not kept pace in terms of growth rate with many world economies such as those of Japan, Germany, Argentina and India.

    Indeed. And Hillary called  super duper don a puppet and he said no she was the puppet but we all know that HE IS THE PUPPET OF PUTIN. I don't know for how long he has been Putin's lapdog but the role suits him to a T! Thank you for your reply Nanoose! :)

    They all laughed because they were already familiar with the way he always starts his speeches by bragging about how wonderful a guy he is. 
    Maybe he is wonderful but shouldn't be such an obnoxious braggart.
