Do you, at times, not know whether you are coming or going?

I cared for people who freeze in the middle of rising from the bed to go to the shower.
They ask, "am I getting up or sitting down?"
They've forgotten what they're doing in the middle of doing it   - it's a symptom of Alzheimers.
Near the end, they forget how to swallow.
And at the last, they forget how to breathe.

It depends on if I'm turning left or right.... Or up and down....

I'm way past that kind of a thing.
