I have to be fair: I just did a whole treatise with Rizz. She's a good sport, she'll take it well.
[One month later: "Does anyone know whatever happened to that grammar-and-tilde guy? You dont think he's that cadaver they found at the landfill, do you? Hmmmm."] ~
None. There were three churches in the local village 150 years ago. By 20 years ago, all three had been sold - bought by families who converted them into homes.
The nearest churches are the Catholic, Anglican, Uniting, 7th Day Adventist and JW - in the nearest big town along with Sikh, Sai Baba and Hare Krishna temples, and Tibetan and Zen Buddhist centers - all about 25 kms away.
The nearest Synagogue is 75 km, the nearest Mosque (Sunni), 140 km, other faith centers, even further.

I can think of 4 in the immediate area. 4 that would take no more than 10 minutes to drive to. That's about average for a moderately populated area outside the Bible Belt.
That seems a remarkably large number, although it may be normal for Ohio. There are five that I know of within 20 minutes walk (which is probably equivalent to 6 minutes drive in average conditions) - four mainstream Protestant denominations, one Seventh Day Adventist. They serve a population of around 15,000. There is also a mosque, possibly more than one in fact, and a Sikh temple.
