How do you remember passwords anyway?

    I formulate them using a combination of words and numbers which have some meaning in my life--e.g., my dog's name when I was a kid along with a portion of my drivers' license number.

    I write them down on index cards so that when I die my wife will have access to them.

    I write them down and stick them on a magnet board which I bought just for that purpose. I have passwords for places I don't remember going to.

  • all i have to remember is the password to my laptop lock-screen. i keep a complete list on my desktop. i change passwords constantly, and i keep the list up to date.

    I write them down, which isn't always the best option. After a while I just memorize them all and barely look over at the paper. I still have all my passwords written down in case I forget them, which has happened before.
